WHAT IS BUSINESS CASUAL ?
Definition
relating to or denoting a style of clothing that is less formal than traditional business wear, but is still intended to give a professional and businesslike impression.
With business casual, slacks or khakis, a button-down shirt left open at the collar, blazer or sport coat and no tie would be appropriate for men. Sometimes a golf shirt is acceptable. Unless explicitly stated in company policy there should be no t-shirts, jeans, camo pants, shorts, sneakers or flip flops.
For women, skirts to the knee are acceptable (no mini skirts), as are khakis, blouses, cardigans and pull over sweaters. Arms should be covered if wearing a tank top. Shoes should be closed-toe; no strappy sandals, stilettos, sneakers or flip flops.
- FOR MEN
